Watch: BREAKOUT KINGS Teaser

One of the pilots that I was really interested during last year's developmental season was Breakout Kings, but it was passed over by FOX. By some miracle, A&E decided to pick up the show and give it a 13-episode order, and a new teaser is supposed to be debuting tonight with the season finale of The Glades. Check it out...

The 20 second spot doesn't give you much information besides the basic concept of ex-cons helping U.S. Marshals catch other bad guys. Apparently, the Marshals are the new spies which in turn were the new vampires. Strike while it's hot I suppose.

The main reason why I'm intrigued by Breakout Kings is because the plot sounds very similar to Leverage, bad guys becoming the good guys, which I'm a sucker for. There's a chance that the show will flop, or it may prove to be a success which could lead to FOX kicking itself for going with Lone Star. Either way, I'll be checking it out in 2011.
