Quick Thoughts: SONS OF ANARCHY, "Kiss"

Season 4 of Sons of Anarchy has hit a fever pitch, and while there was a lot going on in "Kiss" I find myself with not much to write about.

My biggest take away from the episode really had nothing to do with the fall out of Piney's death although that's obviously going to have some major ramifications. Instead I was impressed with how the episode treated Jax. For the longest time now we've been told that Jax was the future of the Sons, and I felt like this was the first time we got to see his potential. At least now, I can be invested in the inevitable showdown between him and Clay, and I could actually buy him as the legit leader of the MC.

I was also a fan of how Juice's story arc as progressed. I still think killing him off would've been a bold move, but I'm glad that we're getting to see Theo Rossi give some really great performances. That being said, Lincoln Potter continued to steal the show. I can't wait to see what this guy tries to pull off next.

Overall, "Kiss" was a good episode but its strengths revolved more around what's to come instead of what was going on in the present.
